Description
System architecture/reengineering. The main existing tools/environments to be taken into account for this task are: .NET c#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, MS Visual Studio, and SVN.
Design and implement common tools for authorisation, reporting and user notification. Design and implement a simple mobile app to allow authorised users to view and respond to radiological/nuclear emergency notifications.
Ensure unit tests and functional tests for newly developed applications.
Effective documentation of all developments made to facilitate the production of user training material.
Installation and configuration of a backup stand-alone callout mechanism linked to THE server system in JRC Ispra.
Installation and configuration of a new disaster recovery node.
Qualifications
Master's degree & 11 -13 years of experience after studies.
Excellent knowledge of programming languages and web development frameworks i.e. .NET C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
Good knowledge of the design, development and test of web applications, web-service and windows-service applications
Knowledge of application development environments i.e. MS Visual Studio
Knowledge of relational database systems i.e. MS SQL Server
Knowledge about responsive web applications development e.g. desktop, tablet
Knowledge about mobile applications development e.g. iOS, Android
Ability to write clear and structured technical documents
