Gather the business processes, data requirements and functional and non-functional requirements for the development of systems;
Produce and maintain artefacts related to requirement analysis, functional specifications and design;
Contribute to the elaboration of functional test artefacts and to the execution and assessment of functional tests;
Contribute to and carry out business change request impact assessment, implement approved change requests;
Prepare meetings, workshop, training material, review the related material;
Contribute to and review business process models and ensure alignment with the EU Customs Business Process Modelling Policy;
Provide analysis of the business flows and support the discussions related to the customs legislation;
Contribute to and review other business process related artefacts, such as the guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum 9 years of recent practical professional experience in Business analysis with proven knowledge of Customs procedural aspects;
Solid experience in large scale complex systems integration projects, within Customs environment or Public domain.
Professional experience with BPM;
Very good knowledge and experience in tools supporting the IT process, service and data analysis activities such as ARIS (from Software AG), the IBM Rational tool suite;
Knowledge and experience with project management lifecycles and exposure to pm methodologies;
Ability to understand the business scope of the project, related legislation, business process descriptions, functional architecture and capacity to follow discussion with business stakeholders and understand their impact on the project scope, definition and defined timelines;
Business knowledge of customs processes/procedures;
Strong knowledge of and experience in IT analysis processes based on SOA such as Mainstream SOA Methodology;
Excellent communication skills in English are required.
