Description
- Provide high level Consultant for Infrastructure solutions in the area of networking, system architecture, high and low level ICT infrastructure design.
- Able to support in the definition and assessment of ICT needs of the European Institution to be established.
- Develop and IT strategy and portfolio
- Developer and support an ICT Information architecture of the new Institution
- To be solution oriented and always focused on market watch on new technologies in the sector of interest
- Advise to customers/ stakeholders on strategic orientation for installed and future product portfolio
- Provide technical lead
- Design of high level customer reference configurations
- Involvement in ITIL strategy, design and/ or continual service improvement phases
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education studies of minimum 3 years in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 9 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Security networking and infrastructure related matters is required
- Ability to produce high level documentation and reporting to official stakeholders is required
- ITIL and Project Management (PMP, Prince2) are highly desirable
- Knowledge of design and implementation of the processes, procedures and operational management associated with high levels of network availability and risk management will be an asset.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques for analyzing, evaluating and monitoring network infrastructure to ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performance will be an asset.
