Stress test scenario design together with the Client
Creation of the requested stress test scripts using Load Runner
Implementing monitoring points for the OS, application server and DB of the system under test
Execution of the scripts in a load environment
Reporting on the performance statistics (CPU, memory, transaction responses time..)
Deep analysis of the perfornamce on the level of Java virtual machine, Oracle DB
Providing advice on changes on the configuration of the server container, JVM, web server etc, to improve the application's performance
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in IT or related field with a minimum of 9 years of professional experience
In depth knowledge and experience with application performance and stress testing is required
Experience with Load Runner and Storm Runner and JMETER is required
Experience with tools related to performance issue analysis, such as SAP Memory Analyzer tool. AWR scripts, TOAD for Oracle, HP Diagnostics for J2 EE is required
Application monitoring preferably using Micro Focus SiteScope or Dynatrace
Knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier web applications
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of French would be considered as asset.
