Description

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in Java Enterprise technology, interoperability and configuration management
• Provision of quality assessments and evaluations of information systems' technical architecture, including technical security assessments
• Assistance in the implementation of the Organisation's software engineering methodology
• Provision of security studies, security assessments and other specific security matters related to ICT infrastructures
• Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis related to the area of expertise
• Elaboration of architectural design documents focused upon software components
• Risk analysis
• Review of Information Systems Infrastructure Architectures
• Provision of technical evaluations and audit reports in relation with information systems infrastructure

Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree and at least 13 years of professional experience after studies
• Specific Expertise:
• Minimum 7 years' experience in Java (both with J2SE and J2EE) with expertise in the use of design patterns;
• Minimum 7 years’ experience with large scale java web application projects
• Minimum 5 years' experience in developing secure web applications
• Minimum 7 years' experience in ORACLE RDBMS
• Minimum 5 years' experience in development of web services
• Minimum 5 years' experience in XML
• Minimum 5 years' experience with Architectural modelling tools (e.g. ARIS, Enterprise Architect (Sparx)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in build automation tools and deployment (Jenkins, Apache Maven or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years' experience with JIRA and GIT or equivalent
• Experience:
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Object Oriented architecture.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience with relational databases
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Service Oriented Architecture
• Minimum 5 years' experience in database design tools
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with UML or case tools

• Deep knowledge in solutions architecture with regards to integrity and interoperability
• Deep knowledge in Java J2EE, configuration management and the design of secure web applications
• Deep knowledge in web technologies
• A very good knowledge of JavaScript libraries/frameworks
• A very good knowledge of Java, Oracle and Angular
• Very good knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus)
